Manufacturers recommend cleaning faucets only when they become dirty. But when you do DIY faucet maintenance, sometimes all you need to do is rinse it with clean water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. In this case, cleaning with special products may not be necessary at all.

Copper-plated or gold-plated faucets require special attention. Read the manufacturer’s advice carefully and do not use products that are not recommended by them. Special cleaning products are produced for such coatings. Use water frequently to clean these products and remember to wipe them down after use.

How to carry out prevention
